My name is Claudette Zeiger and currently my full time job is a Middle School Counselor at The Vanguard School. I am excited to start my part time counseling career at A Seed of Hope Counseling Center. I received my BSW in 1996 and MSW in 1997 from Rutgers University. I started my career at an adolescent offenders treatment unit. I provided adjudicated youth, individual, family and group counseling and also advocated for the families in court. From there, I went on to work at a psychiatric hospital in the roles of Admission Coordinator and Unit Social Worker; providing case management services and individual, group and family counseling. I then worked for an EAP company providing services and short-term counseling to employees from companies who worked all over the country. I decided to go back to school and received my Secondary Guidance Counseling certification from Rosemont in 2006. More recently, I worked at Child Guidance Resource Center as a Mobile Therapist providing in home counseling services to children and families. I have worked with young children, adults and the elderly. I also have experience working with children who have Autism and developmental disabilities. I have training in ethics, motivational interviewing, bullying, autism and an extensive conference on PBIS rewards. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and three children.
