A Seed of Hope Counseling Center provides individual, couples, family and group counseling through both outpatient therapy and mobile therapy.

Outpatient Therapy occurs in the office setting. A Seed of Hope Counseling Center has 2 locations where outpatient therapy is offered. Please contact the office or make an appointment online for in-office outpatient therapy.

Mobile Therapy is offered through a contract with the Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS). Referrals for service come from DPBHS. Mobile therapy occurs in the home, school, and community settings as determined by each person's needs. This is a direct service in which the therapist meets with the child, siblings and/or the parents or legal guardians to plan for treatment and work toward achievement of identified therapeutic goals. Mobile therapy is available to children and adolescents aged 2-18 and their families who are involved with DPBHS.

Therapeutic Support for Families (TSF) is offered through a contract with the Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS). Therapeutic Support for Families (TSF) is available to children under the age of 18, and provides psycho-educational, therapeutic and supportive services for parents/ caregivers and youth who are participating in treatment services from the Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services. TSF services support the treatment goals identified in the youth and family’s treatment plan.

Youth Response Unit: The Wilmington Youth Response Unit is a partnership between the City of Wilmington Police Department, the Delaware Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS) and A Seed of Hope Counseling. A Seed of Hope Counseling is contracted by DPBHS to provide mental health treatment for identified children. Clinicians work with both the children and the families to offer free, voluntary trauma assessment and short-term counseling services after a traumatic event.
